Experience better Laser Vision Correction with "The Nova Vision Difference"

At Nova Vision, our approach to laser vision correction is Full-Service.
All Laser Vision Correction. Simply put, we combine honest pricing, doctor access and extensive patient care under one banner. Nova Vision is the only laser eye surgery clinic that offers you this approach. Some clinics may offer these services but at an additional cost.

How We Are Different

Honest Pricing vs. Low-Cost Price Advertising
At Nova Vision, we provide "Honest Pricing". This method estimates that laser vision pricing has an average cost in the range of $1750-$2000 per eye, based on individual's diagnoses. "Low-Cost Price Advertising" is designed to entice you to call for an incredibly low price. However, once you have committed to being treated, some centers will then add additional and unexpected surprise costs such as post-operative care etc.

At Nova Vision we include ALL costs in our fee upfront for our Full-Service All Laser Vision Correction. No gimmicks. No surprises. We support 1 full year of post-operative care for our laser vision patients with no restrictions on number of visits or additional care. Some patients ask us why we do not offer a "lifetime coverage policy". The reason is simple: you and our Laser Team will know the result of your treatment almost right away. If you may need additional post-op care or even an enhancement this will occur usually in the first 3 to 6 months.

All Laser Vision Correction vs. LASIK
Another key difference for Nova Vision is the type of laser-correction procedure we perform - All Laser Vision Correction. Essentially there are 2 ways to prepare the eye for the laser procedure. One procedure, called LASIK, uses a device to first create a flap on the cornea, the flap is lifted and the laser treatment is delivered.

Our All Laser Vision Correction procedure, which is proven to be 25 times more precise measurement than standard procedures, does NOT create this flap. Instead we gently remove the outermost, very thin layer of the cornea, and then your laser vision correction treatment is delivered in less than 60 seconds.

This difference is of great importance in terms of safety and outcomes. The LASIK flap is created mechanically, so the risk of a complication, though rare, does exist. Also, after the LASIK procedure patients have an ongoing risk of this flap slipping or being damaged if the patient has even slight trauma to the eye (ie, a sports injury, walking into a tree branch, being "poked" in the eye). Post-operatively, LASIK patients must cease many athletic activities for weeks or months due to this risk.

Our All Laser Vision Correction procedure, allows the natural layer of protective tissue to rapidly regenerate itself in a few days leaving the cornea clear, corrected and completely intact.

Consultation & Procedure with the Surgeon
This may surprise you, but some Laser Eye Surgeons do NOT examine their patient's eye before the procedure day. It is done by non-medical doctor staff. You are simply assigned a surgeon on the day of your procedure.

At Nova Vision, we do not find this approach acceptable. That is why when you choose Nova Vision, our surgeon personally examines you on a separate day prior to your treatment day. He does exhaustive testing of your vision and spends real, quality time with you to fully understand the best approach for your vision needs. This also gives you the opportunity to ask your surgeon any questions you may have.
